Students will also learn how to write about their work, present their work, and develop art projects that reach the community at large.
Art 2: This class is created to continue developing a student’s foundation in art-making, creativity, and the art world. Students will explore various wet and dry mediums to further develop their individual skills to produce more sophisticated art pieces. Each piece produced will be coupled with an art critique in order to refine the body of work. Students practice and develop a variety of skills including: critique, argumentation, proper material use, communication, expression, and creativity. The main goal of this course is to build confidence in students by presenting work at school, at the district headquarters and at the Alameda County Fair.
