In Person Learners,
Congratulations on deciding to send your student back to school for In Person Hybrid Learning. There is a lot of information that you need to be aware of before returning. This email is lengthy and will cover:
- Date of return and hours
- Drop off and Lunch
- Self-screening
- Re-Opening Rocket Orientation Monday 4/26/21 at 6pm
Attached to this email is the Edendale Re-opening Site Plan that will have more detailed information including safety protocols for students and staff.
Date of Return and Hours
Monday, April 26th will be a distance learning day for all students. 8:30-12:20 Tuesday- Friday will be an at home distance learning time on Zoom, as usual for all students. Sixth graders will come to campus on Tuesday, April 27th. Seventh and eighth graders will come to school on Wednesday, April 28th. Students will be in class for 90 minutes for one period a day.
Lunch and Drop Off/Pick Up
Lunch will be available for students from 12:40-1:20. If students are not eating lunch, they would not arrive until 1:10 if their last names are A-Li and 1:20 for last names Lo-Z. Students will go to their assigned gates and wait in line, socially distanced, until they are let onto campus. Students are expected to leave campus promptly at 3:00pm.
Self-Screening
Students will need to complete a self-screening online form every day before coming to campus. The link will be available on the EMS website and given to students during class.The Self-Screening Form will also be linked at the bottom of this email.
Re-Opening Rocket Orientation
I recognize this is a lot of information. To ease the transition back to campus, you are invited to attend a virtual Re-Opening Rocket Orientation on Monday, April 26th at 6pm. Please click here to access the Zoom link.
Aprendices en persona:
Felicitaciones por decidir enviar a su estudiante de regreso a la escuela para el aprendizaje híbrido en persona. Hay mucha información que debe conocer antes de regresar. Este correo electrónico es extenso y cubrirá:
- Fecha de regreso y horas
- Entrega y almuerzo
- Autoevaluación
- Orientación de los Rockets Lunes 4/26/21 a las 6 p.m.
Adjunto a este correo electrónico se encuentra el Plan del sitio de reapertura de Edendale que tendrá más detalles información que incluye protocolos de seguridad para estudiantes y los empleados escolares.
Fecha y horario de regreso El
Lunes 26 de abril será un día de aprendizaje a distancia para todos los estudiantes. 8:30-12: 20 de martes a viernes será un tiempo de aprendizaje a distancia en casa en Zoom, como de costumbre para todos los estudiantes. Los estudiantes de sexto grado vendrán al campus el martes 27 de abril. Los estudiantes de séptimo y octavo grado vendrán a la escuela el miércoles 28 de abril. Los estudiantes estarán en clase durante 90 minutos.
El almuerzo y el comida para dejar / recoger
Estarán disponibles para los estudiantes de 12:40-1: 20. Si los estudiantes no están almorzando, no llegarán a la escuela hasta la 1:10 si sus apellidos son A-Li y 1:20 para los apellidos Lo-Z. Los estudiantes irán a sus puertas asignadas y esperarán en fila, socialmente distanciados, hasta que se les permita ingresar al campus. Se espera que los estudiantes salgan del campus puntualmente a las 3:00 pm.
Autoevaluación
Estudiantes deberán completar un formulario de autoevaluación en línea todos los días antes de venir al campus. El enlace estará disponible en el sitio web de EMS y se entregará a los estudiantes durante la clase. El formulario de autoevaluación también estará incluido al final de este correo electrónico.
Reapertura de la orientación de Rockets
