BLACK Program at Edendale Facilitated by Tyson Amir and FSMEI
Dear Edendale Families,
We are excited to announce the first session of the BLACK (Building Leaders and Activists with Collective Knowledge) program at Edendale for all Black/African American students. This powerful program is designed to affirm identity, build leadership, and deepen students’ connection to their history and community. This first session will be on Wednesday, January 28th during the school day.
We are honored to welcome Tyson Amir, educator, author, and founder of Freedom Soul Media Education Initiatives, who will guide students in developing a deeper understanding of their history, culture, and community through meaningful dialogue and learning experiences.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Principal Hinz at 510-317-5100 or email [email protected]. We look forward to partnering with you in this important work.
