8TH GRADE PROMOTION INFORMATION

The Promotion Ceremony will commence at the Edendale Middle School Blacktop on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, from 4-5:00 PM, students are required to arrive for rehearsal no later than 3:00 PM. Parents are encouraged to arrive early to secure parking. Please contact the Main Office if you or a family member is in need of accessible seating accommodations.

 

Please contact your student's teachers regarding grades and eligibility; students participation is contingent upon compliance with 8th Grade Graduation Guideline communicated with families at the beginning of the school year. Additional questions and concerns can be directed to EMS counselors and administrators.

 

INFORMACIÓN DE LA CEREMONIA DE PROMOCIÓN DE LOS DEL 8º GRADO

La Ceremonia de Promoción dará cominzo en la cancha de basketbol de la Escuela Secundaria Edendale, el martes, 12 de junio, de 4 – 5 p.m., se require que los estudiante lleguen a mas tardar a las 3:00. Se les recomienda a los padres que lleguen a tiempo para asegurarse un estacionamiento. Por favor contacte la oficina principal si usted o algún familiar necesita acomodo especial.

 

Por favor ponganse en contacto con los maestros de sus estudiantes para informarse acerca de sus calificaciones y su elegibilidad; la participación de los estudiantes se llevará acabo en  conformidad con los Requisitos Establecidos para la Ceremonia de Promoción del 8º Grado que se les comunico a las familias al principio del presente ciclo escolar. Dudas o preguntas que tuvieran, se pueden dirigir a las Consejeras o Administrativos de la Esc. Sec. Edendale.

TRIO EDUCATIONAL TALENT SEARCH (ETS)

TRiO Educational Talent Search (ETS) encourages, inspires, and supports students in their efforts to achieve academic success by empowering them to graduate from middle school, high school and complete college.  ETS is administered by Chabot College and offers a variety of activities to both students and their families to prepare students for school and college success:

  • Student advising and mentoring
  • Homework and tutoring assistance
  • Workshops on: study skills, college and career exploration, and planning, financial aid, etc.
  • SAT preparation for juniors and seniors
  • College and financial aid application assistance
  • Trips to college campuses, cultural and career-related events
  • Summer programming
